Boliden implements Easit ServiceDesk4 for their Corporate IT

Corporate IT at Boliden launched in the autumn of 2010 an evaluation of service desk tools to replace their existing Notes system. Boliden priority was to find a system that can be used from a central level at corporate IT but also at a local level on each mining site. The evaluation of Easit was made with a proof of concept (POC), focusing on Incident Management and Service Request. The Proof of concept extended during the test period because Boliden wanted to evaluate if Easit could handle all the order that earlier was made in paper forms, Boliden's goal is to create a paperless IT department.
